In Washington DC, on march 3rd, Persident Obama put a hold on a regulation that the Bush administration had put in place. The regulation limited the scientific reviews of enviornmentally harmful products and structures. Dams, for instance, may interfere with the migration patterns of salmon. There are also persticides and household cleaning agents that are harmful to animals once they mix in with rain water. Obama believes in preserving our planet for our children, and he expects us to be able to help both our economy and our ecology. An enviornment first President is something the world is in dire need of, so perhaps things will being to look up for our planet/
